This burgundy dress from Lulus is perfect for a more formal holiday gathering. You can dress it up with some black heels or dress it down with some black tights and booties.

This blouse from SheIn is a great pick for a slightly more casual holiday look. Pair it with jeans or leggings and some cute black booties and you're good to go.

2. Green

This green dress from Express would look gorgeous paired with some black tights and heels. You can even dress it down a little with a cardigan and a pair of flats.

This velvet top from Nordstroms is so chic! I think it would look amazing with a pair of black pants. Add some black heels or flats to complete your look!

3. Red

This lace dress from Macys is such a perfect red holiday dress. Paired with a cute pair of heels, it would make a great outfit for the holidays!

| December Birchbox | Blogmas 2016

Another month, another Birchbox, yay! I'm always so excited when I get home from work to see this little box of surprises waiting for me!

If you don't know what Birchbox is, let me explain so you jump on board. Birchbox is a monthly subscription box that features makeup, skincare, and beauty products. Each month you receive 5 samples that are curated to your preferences and needs. The best part is, it only costs $10!

If you're interested in subscribing to Birchbox, click this link:

Now, let's see what I got!

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo

The packaging for this dry shampoo is so pretty. I love getting dry shampoo because you can never really have too much of this stuff. I can't wait to try this out.

Ardency Inn Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner

Just like dry shampoo, you can never really have too many black eyeliners. This eyeliner is actually really nice, I swatched it on my hand and it's so pigmented and smooth. It looks perfect for lining the waterline.

IPKN Flash Cream Radiant Primer

The only primer I use is the Smashbox Photo Finish primer, it's so amazing I have yet to find another primer that compares. However, I'm still open to trying other primers and I'm excited to give this one a try.

Real Chemistry Luminous 3-Minute Peel

I'm all for trying out new skincare products and this one looks pretty neat. I don't really use peels much, but I'm looking forward to trying this out.

Wilma Schumann Skin Care Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads

I was actually thinking about using eye pads the other day, but I've never bought them before and didn't know where to start. These look really nice and I can't wait to use them. One of my goals for 2017 is to take better care of my skin, especially around my eyes, since I never pay much attention to that area.

Birchbox Mirror

I'm guessing this is a little bonus gift, but it's adorable! A perfect and pretty little mirror to keep on my dresser!

That's everything I got in my December Birchbox! I'm so excited about all of these amazing products.
Were you happy with your Birchbox this month? What did you get in your box? Let me know in the comments!

| My Favorite Christmas Candy! | Blogmas 2016

Christmas and candy go hand-in-hand, well for me they do anyways. I love festive themed chocolate and candies in pretty Christmas colors. In this post, I'm going to share with you my favorite Christmas candy, enjoy!

1. Christmas Tree Reese's

Reese's are amazing on their own, but in tree form they're like 100x better. What is it with food that's shaped, tasting so much better than regular food?

2. Lindt Hollow Milk Chocolate

I love hollow chocolate bars so much more than regular chocolate bars. I'm not really sure why,  but they just taste better. During the holiday season Lindt sells hollow chocolate in all sorts of fun, festive shapes!

3. Ghirardelli Holiday Impressions

This chocolate tastes so good! I love receiving a bag of these for Christmas! The packaging is super cute too!

4. Advent Calendar Chocolate

There is something so satisfying about opening up an Advent Calendar every day and having a different piece of chocolate to eat. Plus, for some reason this chocolate tastes so much better than other chocolates.

5. Candy Canes

I prefer the rainbow fruity ones, but any candy cane will do during the holiday season. I love having one while I'm writing out a blog post, kind of like right now!

| Last Minute DIY Gift Ideas! | Blogmas 2016

Christmas is almost a week away, it's insane how fast the time has gone! If you're like me, you may still need to get a few more gifts for your friends and family. If you're stuck on ideas or  short on cash, you can always make a few gifts yourself. In this post, I'm going to share with you 5 super easy, super affordable, last minute DIY gifts! Enjoy!

1. Book Of Quotes/Lyrics

Who doesn't love a good quote or song lyric? I've got like four Pinterest boards dedicated to quotes and lyrics alone. For the quote-lover in your life, just get a cute notebook and write some amazing quotes or song lyrics inside. If you don't have great handwriting, you can always type it up and glue it inside. This is a great gift idea because you can either make it sentimental or funny. You can even make a book filled with quotes you and the person you're giving it to have said yourselves! I'm actually making my sister a book like this, with some ridiculously hilarious rap lyrics inside.

2. Box Of Letters

I've seen this idea all over Pinterest and I've always wanted to do it myself. You just write a bunch of letters for someone and seal them in envelopes marked with specific times to open them. Like, "Open when you're missing me" or "Open when you need a good laugh". When you're done sealing your envelopes, just put them in a nice box and you've got a super personal and thoughtful gift for someone!

3. Makeup Bag

I love this idea so much. Just pick up a pretty makeup bag and fill it up with all of their favorite makeup products. If they don't wear makeup, fill it up with nail polish, skincare products, or lip balms!

4. DIY Ornaments

Ornaments make a great gift for Christmas. They can put it on the tree right away and continue to use it every year after. Check out my DIY Ornaments post for the easiest ornaments to make!

5. Slippers With Spa Goodies

Just take any pair of slippers and stuff them with fun spa items. I took moccasin slippers and put some face masks, mini lotions, and a nail polish. Then just wrap a pretty Christmas ribbon around the slippers and you've got an easy gift that's perfect for a spa night!

Those were a few super easy and super affordable, last minute DIY gifts!  What are your favorite DIY gift ideas? Let me know in the comments!

| Cold Weather Skincare | Blogmas 2016

That dreaded cold weather is finally here. Well, for me at least, it's currently 21 degrees as I'm writing this! With colder weather comes changes to our skin and in this post I'm going to share with you my cold weather skincare routine for both my body and my face.

When the weather gets cold my skin gets really dry. I make sure to moisturize throughout the day to prevent my skin from getting cracked.
Here are a few of my dry skin tips:

- If you shower in the morning, put some lotion on right after you get out of the shower. If you don't shower in the morning, make sure you're still putting lotion on before leaving the house!

- Carry around a travel sized hand lotion with you, that way whenever your hands are feeling dry, you can just put some on.

- Make sure you're exfoliating your skin too so you get all of that dry, dead skin off of your body.

- If your skin is extremely dry, chapped, cracked, or you have any open sores opt for a fragrance-free lotion, that way it won't burn when you put it on and it won't irritate your skin. (Just because something says "unscented", doesn't mean it's fragrance-free. Always check the ingredients to be sure!)

- Make sure you're also applying lotion at night, to keep your skin hydrated!

For the most part, my face is pretty much oily. It does get a little drier in certain areas in the winter, but nothing too bad. However, I make sure to take extra care of my skin during the colder months to prevent excessive dryness.
Here are a few tips:

- Make sure you're applying a moisturizer every night, (and morning, if possible). This is important for everyone, even if you have oily skin.

- You should also be exfoliating your skin too.

- If you have any excessive dryness or cracked skin on your face, skip out on wearing makeup until it clears. You don't want to irritate it even more.

- Make sure you're moisturizing your lips too! I'm a Chapstick freak, I'm always applying it! Carry a lip balm with you in your bag, that way you can prevent your lips from getting too dry.

- If you're suffering from a cold and you're blowing your nose a lot, you might get really dry skin around your nose. My favorite way to sooth this is by applying some Vaseline on the dry areas.

Those were a few of my tips for cold weather skincare! How do you take care of your skin when it gets cold out? Let me know in the comments!

| TBT XMAS | Christmas Memories | Blogmas 2016

Christmas memories are some of the best memories. They're always filled with plenty of joy and cheer. Today, I'm doing a different type of post, something I don't normally do. I'm going to be sharing with you some of my favorite Christmas memories and some Christmas traditions I used to or currently have. I hope you enjoy!

1. Growing up, my mom would always pick out the Christmas gifts for me and my siblings. One year, when I was about 6 or 7, my dad gave us gifts that he picked out himself. The gift my dad gave me was the Super Mario game for the Game Boy Color and I loved it so much just because I knew it came from him.

2. Every year starting in 6th grade, I would ask my mom for a pair of UGG boots and every single year my mom would say no. I wanted them so badly, everyone had them. My mom actually surprised me with a pair when I was in 9th grade and I was ecstatic. My freshman year of high school was tough, I was going through a lot with my family and I lost a few friends and this made me so happy.

3. I've been obsessed with giving gifts to others since I was little. I always wanted to pick stuff out and wrap it myself. I remember, when I was around 8 or 9, I decided I wanted to give my siblings some presents for Christmas, but I had no money. I thought it would be a good idea to give them my own old toys and wrap them. They didn't really like it.

4. When my boyfriend and I moved into our apartment together four years ago, we finally got to have our own Christmas. That year, he surprised me with a gift certificate to get my hair done, because he knows how much I love it. The best part was, he wrapped the gift certificate in a box and made me unwrap it.

1. Every Christmas morning we would get bagels to eat, my favorite breakfast.

2. My brother and sisters would always wake up super early Christmas morning, and out of all the days to sleep in, my parents chose Christmas. We obviously had to wait until they woke up to open our presents.

3. My siblings and I would pick out which spot in the living room was "ours" where we would open our presents. This became our "spot" every year.

4. Stockings always had to be opened before the actual presents.

5. I always watch Olive The Other Reindeer before Christmas, it's my favorite movie.

Those are just a few of my favorite Christmas memories and traditions. I didn't want to include too many, it would have been way too long!

| My Favorite Festive Products! | Blogmas 2016

With the holidays coming, I love to get festive with everything. That includes the products I use during the month of December. Whether it's cute Christmas packaging or holiday-inspired scents, I love to incorporate products that represent the holiday season into my life during this month.
Today i'm going to share with you a few of the festive products I've been obsessed with this month, enjoy!

1. Bath & Body Works Body Lotion in Warm Vanilla Sugar

When it gets colder out, my skin gets dry so I'm constantly applying lotion throughout the day. This scent from Bath & Body Works smells amazing, just like holiday baking. I've been using this every single day so far this month and I love it!

2. Philosophy Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath

I'm obsessed with these shower gels from Philosophy. The colors are beautiful and the scents are beyond amazing. My current favorites for the month of December are Peppermint Stick, Christmas Cookie, and Sugar Plum Fairy. They each have a scent that remind me so much of Christmas!

3. Christmas Socks

Kind of random, but not really. I collect cute and weird socks, because I'm pretty much a child. I love wearing adorable and festive Christmas socks all throughout December!

4. Softsoap Foaming Hand Soap

Okay, so this is just ordinary hand soap but look at that packaging! It's so cute and festive, I can't get over it. I have one of these in my bathroom and one in my kitchen, to add some holiday flair.

5. Bath & Body Works Candle in 'Tis The Season

Bath & Body Works candles are the best. This one is my favorite during the holiday season. The smell makes me think of Christmas, I love the bright red color, and the picture on the front is super cute. I've been burning this candle all month long!

| Holiday Nail Colors | Blogmas 2016

I'm super cheesy when it comes to the holidays. I always gravitate towards the decorations that have cute Santa and adorable penguins, I collect Christmas socks, and I'm obsessed with nail polish colors that represent the holiday season.
In this post, I'm going to share with you my favorite nail polish colors to wear throughout December! Enjoy!

Could a nail polish color come any closer to that classic Christmas green than this one? I'm currently wearing this on my toes, because I'm literally festive head-to-toe.

This is a deeper green, but would make a perfect nail color to wear to a fancy holiday party. I always feel more sophisticated when wearing this color on my nails.

This is one of the Kylie Jenner Gel Nail Polishes from Sinful Colors. I love this shimmery white during the holiday season. It's a gorgeous shade and looks super festive too!

This color is a perfect holiday red. It has just the right amount of shimmer in it and it's definitely the color I'll be wearing on my nails this Christmas.

I wouldn't normally purchase such an expensive nail polish, but I'm so glad I have this one! It's this beautiful champagne-gold color, it applies so well, and it dries in seconds. This is my favorite shade to wear at the end of December, especially for New Year's Eve!

Those are my favorite holiday nail colors! What colors do you love to wear on your nails during the holidays? I'd love to know, leave your favorites in the comments below!

| Easiest DIY Ornaments! | Blogmas 2016

Ornaments are a great way to add your own personal style to a Christmas tree and what better way to personalize than by making your very own ornaments? Making your own ornaments is a fun holiday activity you can do with anyone, your kids, your friends, your dog, or even alone!
Today, I'm going to show you how to make the easiest DIY ornaments ever! That way, if you're not a very crafty person, like me, you can still enjoy this fun Christmas activity!

Supplies Needed:

Everything I used for this project, was bought at the dollar store!

- Clear plastic ornaments

- Fake snow

- Holiday stickers

- Permanent markers

How It's Made:

1. Take the tops off the clear plastic ornaments

2. Fill the ornaments up with the fake snow. (This "snow" tends to get everywhere and stick to everything, using a funnel or spoon to get it inside will help to reduce the mess!)

3. Put the tops back onto the ornaments, make sure they're nice and secure!

4. Decorate the outside of your ornaments! I used Christmas stickers!

5. You can also write a message on your ornaments using the permanent markers!

That's it, the easiest DIY ornaments ever! Do you like making your own ornaments for your Christmas tree? Let me know your favorite DIY ornaments are in the comments below!

| My Favorite Christmas Movies | Blogmas 2016

Christmas movies are one of my favorite things about the holiday season. I love nothing more than getting cozy on the couch with the Christmas tree lights on, watching festive movies. There are so many Christmas movies out there too! Today, I'm going to share with you my personal, favorite Christmas movies.

1. Olive The Other Reindeer

This one is my all time favorite Christmas movie, like ever. It's so cute and sweet and I watch it every single year. I love the music and the characters.

2. Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer

This cartoon comedy is another one of my favorites. My sister and I always crack up when we watch it. It's hilarious!

3. The Holiday

I was actually quite surprised by how much I liked this movie, I'm not usually into the romantic Christmas movies. This one was different, and I actually love watching it.

4. The Nightmare Before Christmas

Halloween and Christmas all wrapped up into one amazing movie. If you don't like this movie, seriously, what's up with you?

5. Frosty The Snowman

This cartoon classic is another one of my favorite Christmas movies. I've loved it since I was a kid.

6. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

Of course, Rudolph is on my list! Another classic that I've loved for years!

7. Jack Frost

Heartfelt and funny, this movie is a great watch during the holiday season. I remember loving it as a child!

8. The Santa Clause

I loved this movie when I was younger, I thought it was so funny. It still is, and I always make sure to watch it every December.

9. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

This one is definitely different from all of the other movies on this list, more mature. It's a good one though, very funny!

10. The Grinch

I'm talking about the classic cartoon version, I hate the live-action one. Everyone loves this Christmas movie, it's one of my all time favorites.

Those are my favorite Christmas movies. I always make sure to watch them all during the holiday season. What are your favorite Christmas movies? Let me know in the comments!
