| Holiday Makeup Look | Champagne Eyes & Red Lips | Blogmas 2016

There's always so much to do for the holidays. Not only do you have to get everything decorated, bake and cook, and buy gifts, but there are tons of events and parties to attend during the holiday season. My biggest challenge when attending holiday parties is trying to figure out how to do my makeup. Do I want to go over the top glam or just keep it super neutral?
In today's post I'm going to share with you one holiday makeup look that's super pretty and easy. It's the perfect holiday look for a casual dinner or party! Plus, you can get this entire look using drugstore products too!

Products Used:

To create this look, you don't have to use these products specifically. If you have your own products that are similar to these, feel free to use them!

- Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
- Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation
- NYX Micro Brow Pencil
- Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow in Creme Brulee
- Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in The Naked Truth
- e.l.f Eyeshadow Palette in Natural
- CoverGirl The Super Sizer Mascara in Black
- NYC High Definition Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Black
- Maybelline Master Conceal Concealer
- e.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in St. Lucia
- CoverGirl Tru Blend Bronzer
- Wet n Wild Highlighting Gold Bar
- NYX Lip Liner
- NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella

I always start off by priming my entire face. I also love to start on my brows first, so just fill in your brows however you usually do.

I do my eyes before applying foundation, that way if I make any mistakes or if there is any fall out from the shadows, I can fix it all easily.

How To Get The Eye Look:

1. Prime both eyelids, all the way up to your brow. (If you don't have an eyelid primer, use concealer!)

2. Take the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow in Creme Brulee, (or any other light neutral shadow), and apply all over the eyelid, including up to the brows. You can use a brush or just apply this with your clean fingers.

3. Take the cool toned eyeshadow from the Wet n Wild The Naked Truth palette with a crease brush and use this as your transition shade. Just blend it right into your crease.

4. Take the darkest color from the Wet n Wild The Naked Truth Palette and with a different crease brush, apply this into your crease. Use a very light hand with this shade, and be sure to tap the excess off of your brush before applying.

5. Take a super fluffy crease brush and blend your crease shades, making them appear more natural.

6. With a flat, dense eyeshadow brush, apply the champagne/gold shade from the e.l.f. Natural palette, (or any other champagne/gold shade you own), all over your eyelid. I found if I wet the brush, just a little, this shade becomes more pigmented and it makes the sparkles pop out a little more.

7.  Using your liquid eyeliner, create a wing. For this look, I went with a less dramatic wing, but you can do it however you want.

8. Take the darkest shade from Wet n Wild The Naked Truth Palette and with an eyeliner brush, very lightly line your lower lash line with this shade. You can also add a little of the champagne shade you used on the eyelid to your lower lash line if you want.

9. Add your mascara to your lashes, bottom and top. This CoverGirl The Super Sizer mascara is amazing for your bottom lashes!

10. If you want, add some false lashes, and you're good to go!

Flawless Face Look:

1. Apply foundation all over your face using a foundation brush or a beauty sponge.

2. Apply concealer under your eyes, in a triangle shape and blend.

3. Using the e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzer Palette, take the contour shade and contour wherever you like. Everyone should be contouring a little differently, based on your face shape. I usually contour right under my cheeks and along the sides of my nose.

4. Take the Wet n Wild Highlighting Gold Bar and add your highlight wherever you want. I usually highlight my cheeks, the bridge and tip of my nose, and right above my lip.

5. Use the CoverGirl Tru Blend Bronzer and use it only on your temples.

1. Line your lips with the NYX Lip Liner. You can over line your lips if you choose to, just be careful not to over line them too much.

2. Apply the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil on your lips. Take your time when applying lip color, so it doesn't bleed.

That's how you get this Holiday Makeup Look, feel free to do any touching up or if you want, you can change it around a little. This look is perfect for a casual holiday party or even for a Christmas dinner with the family!
