| Wet n Wild Makeup Review | Foundation, Concealer, Contour Sticks!

Wet n Wild is one of my favorite drugstore makeup brands. Their products are super affordable, (hello nothing over $10!), they're always pigmented and great quality, and they're always launching new products. Plus they're cruelty free! So when I saw they recently released a new foundation, concealer, and contour sticks; I knew I had to get my hands on them.

I've been using these products every day these past two weeks to get a good idea of how well they work and I'm so excited to tell you what I think!

Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Foundation: $5.99

I wasn't really expecting much when I purchased this foundation because honestly, I didn't think a foundation this cheap would work well. My first impression was that it really wasn't that great and the smell was horrible. However, after having it on for a little while, I realized that it is actually a wonderful foundation. It blends nicely, it lasts all day, it provides a lot of coverage, and it looks great in pictures!

This foundation is now one of my favorites, I've been wearing it every single day these past two weeks! I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new affordable- and amazing- foundation!

Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Concealer: $3.99

This concealer works great for covering up dark circles and blemishes. It also doesn't create any flashback when taking pictures which is great. The only issue I have with this concealer is that it's a little on the dry side, other than that though, it's actually a really great product!

This concealer is a great option for anyone on a budget, I mean it's less than $5, you can't beat that!

Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Pressed Powder: $4.99

This pressed powder is perfect for setting the foundation. It goes on light and it doesn't look cakey. Its perfect for blending and it stays on all day long. The best part is how affordable it is, it's less than $5.

This is a great pressed powder to use for setting the PhotoFocus foundation, I recommend it if you're purchasing the foundation, they go great together!

Wet n Wild MegaGlo Makeup Sticks

Contour Stick in Oak's On You

I'm obsessed with this contour stick! I've been using it every single day when I do my makeup and the end result is always incredible. It's creamy, it blends really easily, and the color is perfect! It creates a perfect contour every single time and it's so easy to use.

I would recommend this to pretty much everyone. It's great for beginners though because of how easy it is to use.

Highlight Stick in When The Nude Strikes

The color and formula for this highlight stick are both incredible, and the glow is amazing. However, I don't really like using cream highlighters because of how oily my skin is. It is a really great product though!

This highlight stick is great for anyone who loves a super pretty and bright cream hightlight!

Overall, I'm super impressed with all of these Wet n Wild products I tried out. It's so great that an affordable brand released such an amazing foundation and easy to use contour sticks!
Have you tried any of these Wet n Wild products out? What do you think? Let me know in the comments!

| March Birchbox |

Another month, another new Birchbox unboxing, yay! I always get so excited when my Birchbox arrives each month because I get the chance to play around with some new beauty products!

For those of you who don't know what Birchbox is, it's a monthly subscription box that features makeup, skincare, and beauty products. Each month you receive 5 samples that are curated to your preferences and needs. The best part is, it only costs $10!

If you'd like to subscribe to Birchbox, just click this link:

Now let's check out what I got in this month's box!

Beauty Protector Protect & Volume Volume Spray

This spray is supposed to give hair volume and shine without adding weight or stickiness. It can also be used as a layer or protection against heat damage. I love when my hair is full of volume, so I can't wait to try this out!

Benefit Cosmetics They're Real! Mascara

I've always heard great things about this mascara, and now I get to try it out for myself. Some people say it's the best mascara they've ever used, so I'm really excited to give this mascara a try!

Clean Rain Eau de Parfum

This perfume sample smells amazing! It has notes of water lily, daffodil, and melon, and it smells exactly like spring. I'm really considering buying the full size because of how incredible to smells!

Coastal Scents Revealed Smokey Eye Shadow Quad

This sample is really exciting. It's two shades from a Coastal Scents eye shadow palette and the colors are gorgeous. One shade is a shimmery pink and the other is a shimmery brown. The pink swatches great, while the brown needs a little more build up. However, I'm excited to play around with these and see how they look on the eyes.

Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist SPF 50

I love using setting sprays to keep my makeup lasting all day or night and this one sounds amazing. It's a matte formula, which is awesome and it helps control oil. It's also SPF 50 so it protects against sun damage. I'm so excited to use this!

That's everything I got in my March Birchbox. I have to say, I'm really excited about every product I got in this month's box.
Do you subscribe to Birchbox? If so, did you enjoy this month's box? What did you get? I'd love to hear, let me know in the comments!

A to Z About Me | Get To Know Me

I wanted to give you guys an opportunity to get to know me a little better, so I decided to do a little Get To Know Me post. I've listed 26 facts about me, each fact beginning with a letter of the alphabet.
Not only is this a great way for you to learn more about me, it also gave me a chance to learn a little more about myself, because I still haven't figured myself out yet! This challenge was hard but it was also so much fun!

Well, here it is A to Z About Me, enjoy! :)

A. Alexandra

My name! You may have noticed I go by either Ali or Alexandra on social media and my blog. When I originally created my blog, I was terrified of people I knew in real life finding it, out of fear they would judge me. However, after some time I realized that I'm super proud of my blog and all the hard work I put into it that I don't really care if anyone judges me for it.

B. Blogging

I know, pretty unoriginal, but this challenge was hard! I do love blogging with all my heart though, so it fits perfectly. Blogging is like my therapy, it gives me an opportunity to be creative, and I've met so many other amazing bloggers through it. Now if only I can make it a full-time job...

C. Cooking

I hate cooking. I tried really hard to get into it, I pinned so many recipes but I just don't like it. Some people have fun while cooking and really enjoy it, for me it's a chore. Luckily, I have a boyfriend who gets creative in the kitchen so I'm always eating good!

D. Dragonball Z

I'm obsessed with Dragonball Z. I started watching it when I was little and I recently watched every episode again last year. I've been tuning into Dragonball Super religiously and I'm so happy they brought it back!

E. Eggs

If I had to pick one food to live off of it would probably be eggs. They're my favorite, you can eat them in so many different ways, and they're not bad for you! YAY!

F. Funny

I love people who are funny, like I can't deal with people if they don't have a good sense of humor. I'm always acting funny and goofy and there's only room for other funny people in my life.

G. Girly

So I'm a total girly-girl but I'm also not. Like I'll have bows in my hair and curse you out at the same time.

H. Hair

I'm not a natural blonde, I dye it. I'll probably always dye it blonde, I just don't think brown hair looks that great on me. I'm not even really sure if I would ever dye it another color, I just really like blonde hair!

I. I Love You

I say "I love you" a lot. I say it to my boyfriend 35 million times a day and I always say it to my family. You can never really say it enough.

J. Journey

I've gone through a lot in my life, good and bad. But I have to keep reminding myself that its all part of my journey.

K. Knees

I have really small knees and they pop out of place sometimes randomly. It's painful but it's more annoying if anything.

L. Lyrics

Have you noticed I usually post a song lyric when I post selfies on Instagram? I'm a huge music lover but I love the lyrics so much more. I always want to find ways to share the lyrics I love with everyone, so I just use some lyrics that mean something to me as a caption when I post pictures.

M. Matt

It's about to be 7 years with my boyfriend, Matt. We've been through so much together but our relationship has got to be the best thing that's ever happened to me. We have our moments, but he's the most amazing person on this planet. He supports me, takes care of me, and loves me. And I love him more.

N. New York

I'm from New York, specifically Long Island. I love where I live and hate it at the same time. There's so much to do, like hop a train and go to the city or go to one of the beaches. But right now I'm hating it because it's freezing.

I have OCD and no I'm not a neat freak. It's actually so much more than liking things clean, neat, or organized. It sucks and some days are far worse than others but I'm working on managing it better.

P. Pets

I'm not much of a dog or cat person, but I love reptiles! I have two snakes, a bearded dragon and two fish tanks.

Q. Quinlan

My middle name. I used to hate it when I was younger because it was so different, but I love it now because of how different it is.

R. Regrets

I have no regrets. I've made mistakes in the past, but I don't regret them. They've taught me so much about life that I wouldn't have learned without making them, so I try not to lose sleep over them.

S. Shopping

I love shopping, it doesn't matter what I'm shopping for, I love doing it. It's one of my favorite things to do.

T. Twin

I have a twin brother, he's 16 minutes older than me. He's also 6'0 and I'm 5'3 and we look nothing alike. I also have five sisters!

U. Underdog

I'm always rooting for the underdogs. The people that don't quite fit in or the ones who aren't liked as much, probably because I've always been one too.

V. Very Loving

I've got a huge heart, it's a blessing and a curse. I care about a lot of people and I just want to do what I have to to make them happy. I'm always friendly and I would never intentionally hurt anyone's feelings, and when I do, I do whatever I can to make them feel better. I hate seeing people sad or hurt.

W. Water

I'm obsessed with playing in water. I love swimming, taking showers, taking baths, water parks, anything that involves water. I'm literally a fish. If you have a pool, you're automatically my new best friend!

X. Xanthos

I actually searched for words that start with X on google and found this one. Xanthos is the Ancient Greek word for yellow and yellow is my favorite color, so it works!

Y. Young

I forget that I'm only 23 and I'm still young and have my whole life ahead of me. I've been living on my own since 17, so I had to grow up fast. But I need to remind myself every once in a while that it's okay to not have everything figured out and that I can take a break and have some fun.

Z. Zeppolis

I'm obsessed with zeppolis, I need to get them whenever I'm somewhere that sells them. They're just fried dough with powdered sugar sprinkled on top but they taste magical and I'm in love with them.

I'm always on the hunt for new affordable makeup, so I'm constantly hitting up the drugstore to find new products to try out. I picked up a few products, some being new releases, and I thought I'd share them with you. Enjoy!

Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Foundation

I've been seeing everyone review this new foundation from Wet n Wild and most reviews have been positive so I figured I'd pick it up and try it out for myself. I used it the other day and so far so good. I'll be posting a review soon about this new foundation line once I use it a little more.

Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Pressed Powder

I had to get the pressed powder too. This foundation line from Wet n Wild is supposed to be great for taking pictures. I can't wait to play around with it a little more and let you guys know what I think of it.

They also recently launched these highlight sticks, which are just so pretty. Another product I'll be reviewing soon!

Wet n Wild Color Icon Eye Shadow Trio in Spoiled Brat

Last Wet n Wild product, I swear! I love the eyeshadow trios from Wet n Wild, they're always great quality for the price. I want more vibrant colors to play around with and this one comes with a super bright pink! I can't wait to do some really cool eye looks with this eyeshadow!

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Sapphire Siren

I love playing around with bright colors on my lips and this lipstick shade is really cool. I can't wait to create some bold looks with this lipstick.

I'm so excited to play around with the new makeup I recently purchased! Don't forget to be on the look out for my Wet n Wild review coming soon!

Clothing Haul | Marshall's

You can really never have enough clothes. I'm always shopping for new pieces to add to my wardrobe. Last month I went to Marshall's and picked up a few things and I thought I'd share them with you in a little haul. Enjoy!

Kensie Owl Pajama Pants

These pajama pants are seriously the cutest things ever. They're super soft and comfy and they're banded at the bottom. The design on these pajama pants is so adorable and the lace detail on the pockets is gorgeous. I'm so in love with these pjs!

Romeo + Juliet Couture Top

Plaid shirts are an essential and this one is so cute. I fell in love with the colors of this top first but it's also so comfortable and goes with pretty much everything!

Blue Spice Jeans

I have an obsession with colored jeans and this color is super cool, it's kind of a greyish-green color. They're skinny jeans with a released hem and I just can't wait to rock these in the spring!

That's it, just a few pieces of clothing I purchased recently.
I love shopping for clothing at affordable stores. Where's your favorite place to shop for clothing? Let me know in the comments!

March Nail Colors | My Favorite Nail Polish Colors For March

I love collecting different nail polish colors, it's like every time I'm at the drugstore I have to pick up at least one. I currently have a pretty big collection of nail polish and to help me make sure I use them all, I put a few shades aside each month, usually colors that I feel represent the month well, and I use those whenever I paint my nails or toe nails. In this post I'm going to share with you some of my favorite nail polish shades for the month of March!

Wet n Wild Megalast Salon Nail Color in Lean And Green

Who doesn't think of a bright green color when it comes to March? I always wear a super green color like this on my nails during the week of St. Patrick's Day to help me get into the spirit of the holiday. This green nail polish is so bright, it's absolutely the perfect green to have on your nails for a St. Patrick's Day party!

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color in Mint Sorbet

I said I love green shades for March and this nail color is a really pretty pastel mint green. It's perfect for a more subtle green nail and it's a great shade for the beginning of spring!

L.A. Colors Color Craze Nail Polish in Meadow

This nail polish is a soft, light green. It's another perfect subtle shade for march and it's a great color for spring weather too. I currently have this nail color on my toe nails and I love it!

Sinful Colors Nail Color in Kozy

This nail polish is a demi matte from the Kylie Jenner collaboration with Sinful Colors. It's a pretty iridescent pastel purple with gold shimmer. It's such a beautiful color for the beginning of spring!

Sinful Colors Nail Color in Easy Going

This nail polish is one of my favorite shades ever. It's a gorgeous light pink, it's almost white. I love pastels for March because it reminds me of spring and this color is perfect!

Sinful Colors Nail Color in Unicorn

I'm still going with the pastel colors for spring here. This nail polish shade is really unique. It's a pretty, light yellow shade that looks so pretty on the nails. Easily another one of my favorite nail colors ever!

Those are my favorite nail polish colors for the month of March. What colors are you rocking on your nails this month? Let me know in the comments!

Beauty Wishlist | Sephora

You can never have too much makeup! Even when it feels like you have plenty of products to play around with and make awesome looks with, there's always another product out their that you just need to have. With brands releasing new products all the time and trends changing, I'm always on the look-out for new things to try out.
Recently, I was adding things to my cart on Sephora, with no intention of buying them anytime soon, (I got bills to pay), and I figured I would share them with you. Most of these products I've been wanting for a little while and some are newer releases that caught my eye right away.
Although I don't currently have the funds to buy these products right now, I really want them and plan on saving a little money so I can purchase them. Here's 10 products from Sephora that are currently on my beauty wishlist. Enjoy!

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit

If you've been on social media lately, you've probably seen thousands of pictures of this highlighting kit. I'm dying to get it, not only is the packaging beautiful but the product itself looks amazing too.

2. Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Chill Zone

Smashbox is one of my favorite brands and these Always On Matte Liquid Lipsticks look incredible. The color I really want is this deep grey, it's so unique and pretty and I'm in love.

3. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Chianti

If you checked out my review on the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick, you would know that I'm so in love with the formula of these lipsticks. I really want to get a few more shades, but this color stood out to me the most. It's a very deep burgundy color and it's stunning.

4. Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Black

Black eyeliner is an everyday essential for me and I've heard amazing things about this eyeliner. It's pretty expensive, but if it works as well as I've heard than I'm all for it!

5. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe

This is pretty much the best brow pencil you can buy, everyone loves it. I currently use the NYX eyebrow pencil, which I heard was an amazing dupe for it and I love it, but if the NYX works that well I can only imagine how great this one is.

6. Too Faced X Kat Von D Better Together Ultimate Eye Collection

This collab is everything. You get 12 eyeshadow colors, ranging from bright neutrals to deeper shades and even a bold red. You also get the Better Than Sex mascara and the Tattoo Liner, which are both amazing products.

7. Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette

The packaging is cute and the colors in this palette look amazing. I've heard nothing but good things about it and I'm dying to get my hands on it.

8. Urban Decay Moondust Palette

The shades in this eyeshadow palette are bold and super glittery and I'm in love. I've been wanting to do some more bold eye looks and this palette looks perfect to do just that!

9. Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer

I got a sample of this concealer a few months back and it's amazing. It covers everything and blends so well!

10. Smashbox Spotlight Palette

This highlighting palette is so pretty. It's also a collab between Smashbox and one of my favorite Youtubers ever, Casey Holmes so I obviously need it.

That's everything on my beauty wishlist at the moment. What beauty products are you currently lusting over? Let me know in the comments!

| W7 Beat It! Palette | Review + Swatches!

I live for affordable makeup products that work just as good- if not better- than the pricier ones. Nothing feels better than stumbling upon a makeup product that's amazing and cheap!
On a recent trip to Marshall's, I found the W7 Beat It! Palette while standing in the checkout line. I've seen these palettes before, and I always wondered if they were any good. I looked at the price tag and it said it was only $6.99 so i figured, why not give it a try?

This palette looks similar to the Urban Decay Naked palettes, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a dupe or not. (Let me know in the comments if you're aware of this palette being a dupe!) In this palette there are 12 shades; 3 are matte and 9 of them range from satin to shimmery. The pan size in this palette is great because it's the perfect size to fit a brush!

1. Big A: yellow-toned cream matte
2. Moon Shadow: warm, light brown matte
3. Late Again: deep dark brown matte
4. The Full Monty: rose gold shimmer
5. Film Star: light pink satin
6. Candle Light: light champagne shimmer
7. Loved Up!: light brown satin
8. Make A Wish: light purple shimmer
9. Teachers Pet: light pink shimmer
10. Billboart: medium brown shimmer
11. Loadad: orange shimmer
12. The Gambler: yellow-gold shimmer

So the shades look gorgeous inside the palette, but what really matters is how they look swatched.

Some of the colors looked amazing when swatched. The best ones were definitely the shimmer shades, they all swatched beautifully. The satin shades also swatched very nicely. The lightest matte shade swatched really nice but the other two were a little chalky.

I played around with a few of the shades in this palette on my eyes and they work really well. They blended beautifully and there was practically no fall-out!

All in all the W7 Beat It! Palette is an amazing deal. For less than $10 you get 12 eyeshadow colors that range from matte to shimmer, light to dark. You can do tons of eye looks with this palette! I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone who loves great, affordable makeup! It's also the perfect palette for someone who just started playing around with makeup!
I can't wait to play with this eyeshadow palette some more!

Have you tried out the W7 Beat It! Palette? What did you think of it? Let me know in the comments!
