| Spring Goals |

Today is officially the first day of spring! I don't know about you but I've been ready to say goodbye to winter since the first day it started this year. This winter was a rough and long one, but luckily warm and sunny days will be here soon.

Since it's the first day of spring, I wanted to share with you a few goals I have this season. I'm trying to be more organized and goal-oriented to actually accomplish the things I want to do, so maybe making a list of all these goals will make them easier to do. Some of the goals I have are blog related and some are just general life goals. I really hope to reach these goals by the beginning of summer, and of course I'll be keeping you guys updated on whether I do or not!

1. Exercise More

My first goal for the spring is to get back into working out, but more specifically, have a great workout routine. I love working out, it's great for both physical and mental health! I've already started getting back into basic workouts last week, so this goal shouldn't be too hard to accomplish. I just love the way I feel after a good workout but I really need to focus on making sure I have the motivation to do it everyday.

2. Eat Better

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a horrible eater. I basically eat like a 10 year old boy; I love junk food and I practically live off it. I'm getting older though, and my body definitely doesn't like the junk I put into it, so I really need to put an effort into eating better. This will be a little more challenging for me because I'm an extremely picky eater, so it might take me a while to find healthy foods I like, but I'm really determined to do it!

3. Organize Clothes

I have an insane amount of clothing. I have things I barely wear, things I've worn since high school, and things I've bought and haven't worn yet because either I can't currently find them or I haven't had the chance to wear them. I really need to go through all of my clothes and organize them and donate the things I hardly wear. This will be tough because I always find a reason for keeping a clothing item even if I don't really need it, but I'm going to work really hard on this!

4. Spring Cleaning!

I really need to do a full clean-up of my apartment. I need to go through everything I have, clean everything, and maybe even get a little into interior design. This will be both challenging and fun, it's a lot of work but I really want to make my home look and feel amazing!

1. Revamp Blog

I really want to start putting more money, time, and effort into my blog and the way it looks. I'm considering (finally) buying a domain and finding a new template I love. I'm going to search Etsy for some pretty templates and signatures and I'm going to start researching web design and all the other information I need for running my own self-hosted site. I'm excited and scared at the same time, but I want to take this blogging thing seriously, so I need to put in some serious effort with it.

2. Read More Blogs

I love reading other blogs but I find I rarely have the time to. I want to find a way to put aside some time each day, or a few days a week, to read other blogs. I want to support other writers and reading other blogs is also a great way to find new inspiration.

3. Social Media

I already have so many amazing followers across different social media platforms, but I do have specific number goals for the end of spring. I do however, know that numbers aren't everything, so I'm really looking for engaging followers. I want to continue to make new blogging friends and support other bloggers. I also want to try to use different platforms such as Pinterest and Snapchat for my blog as well!

4. Giveaway

I hope to be able to do at least one giveaway by the end of the spring. I love giving back to the people who support me, whether it be from reading my blog, liking my pictures or other engagement on social media. I'm not too sure of what I want to give away at the moment, but I'm definitely thinking about doing one in the next few months!

Those are my goals for this spring. I have a few months, so hopefully I can accomplish each one! I'll be keeping you guys updated on when I do reach these goals.
Do you have any goals for the spring? Let me know what they are in the comments!

  1. I really do need to exercise more...unfortunately :) Stay healthy and fit is really important. Lately, I have also started to read more blogs and it's really kind of fun to get the interaction with the writers! xx Simone from Zurich

  3. This is a great list to get going.

I've spent the last two weeks doing basic exercises. I'm going to force myself to start running now (let's see how that goes).

Cleaning your wardrobe will be so rewarding- something I should do too.

All the best and happy spring.

  4. Great goals!! I know what you mean about reading other blogs! I looove reading other blogs but it is one of those things you need time for. I also am wanting to makeover my blog but I'm scared something will happen and I'll lose the whole thing lol. I also love making blogging pals and supporting one another- you've all been a total inspiration to me. Good luck with your goals!! XX Jen beautylifemom.com

  5. I feel you about organizing clothes! I recently read the book The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, and it really helped me get into the right mindset for organizing and cleaning! Super quick read too.

  6. I have the same first two goals as you do! I suffer from eating super unhealthily, but have been doing much better recently, cause you said, my body isn't really agreeing with it! Exercising has been much more difficult to add to my routine. My laziness is real, but I'm really trying! I hope you succeed with all your goals though xxx
