I don't even wanna talk about how September is over already and how it's the fall and we're getting closer and closer to the worst time of the year, (aka winter). It's true though, September flew by and tomorrow is the first day of October! Can time slow down now please?
Anyways, new month means another monthly favorites! Here's my September Favorites!
September Favorites
Favorite Skincare Product: Mario Badescu Drying Cream
On a recent trip to Ulta I stumbled upon a Mario Badescu skincare kit that was specifically for acne prone skin. I decided to pick it up because lately my skin has been a total pain in the ass with breakouts. I'm not really having super horrible breakouts, but when I do get a pimple, nothing works to get it to go away.
This drying cream is hands-down the best acne product I've used in my entire life, and I've used a lot. You just dab a little directly on a pimple or on trouble areas and it pretty much makes your acne disappear overnight! It's not a cheap product at all, ($17 for .5 oz), but for me it's worth every penny and I will be buying the full size as soon as I run out of my little sample size.
Favorite Face Product: Milani Conceal + Protect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer
In case you haven't noticed, I usually only use matte foundations, any other foundation just makes my skin look too oily, but this one doesn't. I picked this up randomly and I'm so happy I did. It's full coverage, which I love and it makes my skin look glowy, not like an oil slick. I've been using it throughout the month and I've had no breakouts, so it's now officially one of favorite drugstore foundations ever.
Favorite Eye Product: Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette
I finally caved and bought the eyeshadow palette that seems to be everyone's favorite, and I'm not even going to lie, initially I didn't see the hype. None of the colors got me excited at first but after using it a few times, I fell in love. It really is an essential warm-toned palette filled with shades you won't find in other palettes, my favorite is the red. I've been using it so much this past month and I'll be using it religiously throughout the fall.
Favorite Lip Product: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Tokoyo
I know it's the fall and everyone is swooning over browns and berry shades, but I'm a sucker for that perfect pink lipstick shade and this one from NYX is now one of my favorites. It's such a pretty color and the formula is amazing!
Favorite Hair Product: Wet Brush
I just recently bought a new brush and it made me think about how I used to brushed my hair without using a Wet Brush. Literally the best brush in the world. It doesn't pull your hair, so there's never any pain when trying to get knots out and it leaves your hair feeling soft and smooth. My forever favorite, so I've included it in this month's favorites post.
Songs I've had on repeat this month:
Havana - Camila Cabello
& Lots of T-Swift. #noshame
Those are all of the things I've been loving this past month! What are some of your September favorites? I'd love to hear!
If you'd like to see a full review on any of the products mentioned in this post, let me know and I'll make it happen!

I always love your favorites, you give me great ideas! I feel like we're on the same page with a lot of stuff. Is the MB cream the one with the pink stuff on the bottom or is it an actual cream? I get breakouts and I've tried the one with the pink sediment. I'm interested too in the Milani! Full coverage and won't make you look like a greaseball is always a winner!! Thanks for sharing!! ReplyDeleteThe Mario Badescu Drying Cream is like a brown color and it smells horrible, but it works so well!

The Mario Badescu Drying Cream looks like something I should buy, and I'm thinking about trying that Wet Brush as well. The foundation and Modern Renaissance eyeshadow palette also look and sound good.
