Blogging Babes Featured Blogger | An Interview with Erica Raquel

January's second Blogging Babes Featured Blogger is Erica Raquel from grandfashlife.com! Erica is a blogger and fashion designer, which is so freakin' cool! She's creative, absolutely stunning, and she's a kick-ass blogger who is aways ready to support others!

1. What made you decide to start blogging?

I began blogging to share my outlook on fashion and beauty and hope to bring a positive and uplifting space for those who need it.

2. What do you blog about?

I blog about fashion, beauty, and sometimes lifestyle.

3. Your Twitter bio says you're a fashion designer, which is so cool! What kinds of things do you design?

I have branded myself as a formal wear designer. I love creating super glamorous gowns.

4. How would you describe your design style?

My design style is usually glam and over the top. I love to design pieces that can be worn on the red carpet, (that's my dream).

5. What are your three favorite style trends?

This is kind of difficult to say because my style incorporates so many different trends. I would love to say lace, any and everything that shines when the light hits it, and all things dressy!

6. And what are three trends you just don't get?

I know a lot of people will think I'm crazy for this but I can't stand comfort clothes everyday (leggings, sweats, etc.), I also don't understand this biker trend that has come about and I definitely don't like those bulky sneakers that have become a thing.

7. What is your fav social media platform?

My favorite social media platform is Twitter! It's fab!

8. What is one thing you couldn't live without?

I couldn't live without my favorite fabric store! Whenever I walk in and see all of the colors and types of fabrics, I'm both overwhelmed and happy.

9. If you could be anything in the world, what would you be and why?

I would want to be a successful fashion designer who is able to help women all over the world feel like the best version of themselves.

10. What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone just starting their blogging journey?

Blogging can seem like a lot and you won't always have ideas but if you stick with writing about all the things you love, the inspiration will come and you will feel accomplished. Just keep going!

Some of Erica's favorite + most popular posts (they're all amazing btw):

Erica is a beautiful soul inside and out. She's a huge supporter of her friends and fellow bloggers, always sharing other's work and spreading the love, and she's always there to cheer you up when you're having a bad day. Her amazing style and awe-inspiring confidence make her a standout member of the blogging community. And I know damn well when I need a beautiful dress to wear to an event, she'll be the one designing it.

Make sure you're following Erica on Twitter(She's the sweetest!)
